An early drawing of Iloyd

 

Iloyd was started off as a character I created in 1996 while I was drawing some silly pictures to entertain Esin [who was a little girl at age 6, then]. Later on, the same character inspired me to create an electronic music album for children. Thus "The Story Of Iloyd" was born.

Even though there were four versions of The Story Of Iloyd album recorded between 1996-98, the project has never been finished as I kept changing mymind, and I should have worked quite a bit harder to bring out what I had in his mind.

After this period I changed my direction to different music genres like downbeat, worldfusion, ambient, etc. and released the albums Alive and Crossroads in 2000 and 2001.

In 2003 I decided to use "Iloyd" as my solo band project name.
